The Symposium on Physics Education is one of the special events to celebrate HBCSE’s journey over the last 50 years towards the goal of improving the quality of science education in the country. It will bring together a diverse community of physics teachers, scientists and physics education researchers, and will be focussed on the challenges and opportunities of the teaching and learning of physics from high school to advanced levels.

The symposium will also commemorate Prof. Arvind Kumar’s contribution to science education, in particular physics education, on the occasion of his turning 80.
